One verse fewer than the KJV, in 3 John, reflecting the critical-text verse division. - ylt — Young's Literal Translation
An extremely literal rendering that preserves Hebrew and Greek tense and word order at the cost of English fluency. Useful as a structural reference, not as reading text. - dby — Darby Translation
Four verses fewer than the KJV, in Matthew, Acts (x2) and 3 John, reflecting critical-text verse divisions. - wbt — Webster's Bible
Noah Webster's light modernisation of the KJV -- archaic and indelicate wording updated, the text otherwise substantially unchanged. - bbe — Bible in Basic English
Two caveats. Versification: 38 verse ids differ from the KJV at Hebrew-numbering seams in Genesis, Leviticus, Numbers, 1 Samuel, Job, Ecclesiastes, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Jonah, Micah, Nahum and Zechariah, so cross-references built against KJV numbering resolve incorrectly in those books. Placeholders: 38 verses return '***', '...' or '[]' rather than prose. The New Testament ones are critical-text omissions (Matthew 17:21, Mark 9:44, John 5:4, Acts 8:37 and similar) which this translation marks as absent while keeping the verse number.
